Day 4 - A film cliché that you love

I call it the Pride-and-Prejudice-storyline: man meets woman, man falls in love, but woman does not like man, woman finds out man is actually not that bad, man and woman live happily ever after. Although 'invented' by Jane Austen, this type of story can actually be found in many modern romcoms, like You've got mail. I don't know why I like it so much, maybe because we women all like to keep men dangling a bit before we submit?? TV-tropes probably has a nice word for this type of storyline, but the list of tropes under the genre of romance is very long... If one of you knows, please comment!

Day 05 - Favourite love story in a film

There are many romantic comedies that I love to watch when I feel in a romantic mood, some of my favourites are Sweet Home Alabama, Love Actually, Never been kissed. But as to my favourite love stories, I always go back to period drama. My favourite love stories are the BIG stories of history: Darcy and Elizabeth, Jane and Rochester, Margaret and Thornton.... Aaah, like that they don't make them anymore these days..

Day 06 - Favourite actor/actress

Hands down my favourite actor is Michael Kitchen, who plays Inspector Foyle in Foyle's War. He can say with a nod of his head or with one word (usually the word is 'Right') what other actors cannot even express in a hunderd words. Watching him act is a sheer pleasure.

Day 07 - The most surprising plot twist/ending

Flightplan. This movie really plays with your mind. While in the beginning you think you know exactly what happens, after a while you start to doubt everything you say. And when the movie ends, you kick yourself for not seeing what was coming. Can't really say more without spoiling anything, but here's a trailer.
