For these icons I used both original World War II photographs as well as screencaps from Foyle's War (www.foyleswar.com), Land Girls series 2 (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

rawr_caps) and the 2001 movie Enigma. The icons Faceless, One colour and AC1 and 2 were made with Foyle's War caps, Blend, Textless, Anger and People were made with Land Girls caps and Enigma Caps were used for Close crop and AC3. AC5 was made with caps of female characters of all three series/movies.
I was very unsure about these icons while making them, but now that I see them all together, I think it's actually quite a nice bunch. It's actually a very nice coincidence I'm posting these icons today, because here in The Netherlands we're celebrating Liberation Day after we've commemorated the victims of WWII yesterday. And ofcourse the end of WWII in Europe will be celebrated in many other European countries as well in the coming days. A special time of the year, which never fails to touch me. Let us never forget!
