Little Women... I think it's best compared to a warm, cozy room on a cold and windy night. I've always loved watching this movie and since I first read the novel (or actually novels), they are a favourite of mine. I've discovered there are many people who would've liked to see Jo end up with Laurie, but I love the romance between Jo and Friedrich Bhaer. To all the Jo/Laurie shippers I'd want to say: go and read the follow-up novels Good men and Jo's boys and see if the marriage of Jo and professor Bhaer isn't the sweetest thing in the world there! I've even resolved to put the line Friedrich quotes in the movie on my wedding card, if it ever comes to that: 'Your heart understood mine. In the depth of the fragrant night, I listened with ravished soul to your beloved voice. Your heart understood mine'

These icons are precious! I always loved Laurie and Jo's friendship--but that's what it was, at least to me. A great, heartwarming friendship. Even though Professor Bhaer isn't as young or dashing as Laurie, I agree that he and Jo were made for each other. :)
