Day 15 - Favourite film sequel
The rule that sequels are generally not as good as the first movie does certainly not apply to the Shrek quartet of movies! I'm a big fan of the friendly green giant and his band of weird friends (mostly Donkey!). And I think I loved all movies equally. Including the fourth one, which I went to watch last week in 3D in cinema. Every new part of the Shrek movies again managed to take some fairytale and give it an original twist.
Just a funny clip from Shrek Forever After. An example of the 'original twist' on the story of the Pied Piper.
Day 16- Favourite film character
That question is simply too hard! There are so many awesome characters: complex, brave, funny, mysterious, troubled. Ofcourse I love Lizzy Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, but giving that as an answer would be too much of a cliché. Therefore I will give another costume drama cliché: Jo March from Little Women. I would like to say I am very much like her, but Jo is much more extrovert than I am. However, her large fantasy and the struggle between the love for her family and wanting to be an independent person I can identify with very well.
Day 17 - Favourite film quote
Aragorn's speech at the Black Gate from LOTR:The Return of the King. The stuff that gives you goosebump, very powerful!

Day 18 - The best overall cast in a film
Another very difficult question. I think I'll refer to LOTR again. Every actor embodied his character so they actually became who they played. Viggo Mortensen not only played a king of men, he became a king of men. The same for Eliah Wood, he became the hobbit Frodo. This makes the movie a joy to watch.
