It's the little things that count
Apr. 15th, 2011 10:28 amYesterday I had half an hour to spare before going to choir practice, so I slowly walked through the city, enjoying the longer evenings. I couldn't resist the flower salesman and bought a large bunch of tulips for a ridiculously low price. The city was slowly filling up with Thursday evening shoppers, but was not yet so busy as to be uncomfortable. I stopped at my favourite bookstore, a small place filled up to the top with books on dark wooden shelves with little ladders and leaved through all their newest stock.
I suddenly felt as if I was in a scene from a romantic comedy (I think Notting Hill or You've got Mail), just enjoying the best small things life has to offer!
