Some thoughts about the seasons endings of the shows I watch regularly. Be aware there are spoilers under the cut!!

The Good Wife season 3

I wasn't as invested in the show this season compared to the first two seasons. I still consider this a wonderful show with great actors, though! I was disappointed that the show made the relationship between Will and Alicia, which had been a focal point of the two previous seasons, so shortlived, made it disappear so quietly and frankly, made it boring. I am however, glad that in the last few episodes we got to see Alicia and Peter grow closer again. I still think there's quite some chemistry between them and either way, they have to figure out what to do in the future, they can't stay just seperated forever. The show tackled some pretty complex legal cases in most of it's episodes and though this made for interesting dilemmas for the characters, it also confused me sometimes. I don't know a lot about the US legal system (or about the Dutch system for that matter), so maybe I missed some points.
The season finale felt more like a beginning of new stories then the ending of a storyline, but this I've also noticed in the season 1 and 2 finales. I don't mind it, but it makes the wait for new episodes feel even longer! The story in the season finale was perhaps a bit too complex for one episode and felt rushed, but I'm sure this story is not yet finished anyway. I really like Kerry coming back to Lockhart&Gardner and in the next season, I'm hoping for some interesting Kerry/Kalinda dynamics.

Once Upon A Time season 1

I've loved this new series from the first episode, each week counting the days until the new episode was on. I love its original idea, the fact that it takes place in two different worlds, the new twists they give to age-old fairytales and I love its characters. The finale blew me away. I cried, I laughed, I screamed and clapped at the screen, it was wonderful! I loved the symmetry between the story in fairytaleland and in Storybrooke, which was even stronger than in previous episodes. The action scenes with the Malificent dragon were very well done for TV-show CGI. I felt extremely sorry for Belle though. First having been locked up for 28 years and then to be reunited with the man you love only to see him choose his power over you AGAIN. I almost hope she leaves him in season 2 for some more deserving love-interest. Mr. Gold's behaviour in this episode left a big dent in the already small amount of sympathy I had for him. Big kudos to Jennifer Morrison for her acting this episode. Even though Emma now believes, you could see in her eyes she's still struggling to take it all in. I'm so glad they played the 'True Love's Kiss'-card to bring Henry back, showing love between a mother and a child is just as much true love than between a man and woman. It's going to be a very long wait for the next season, but with the season finale opening all kinds of interesting prospects, I'm sure it's worth the wait!

Grey's Anatomy season 8

I'm probably not able to say many coherent things about this finale, because... LEXIE, WHY!!! I really don't see the reason why it was necessary for her character to be killed of. I can understand if you use a plane crash as a plot device someone has to die, otherwise it's unrealistic, but not one of my (and many other fans favourite) characters! Besides, the writer of Grey's has promised us Mark/Lexie shippers a happy ending for years, that was worth waiting for. This was not what I had in mind.... I didn't like the whole plane crash idea either. Christina said it just right (it was as if a character was mocking its writer), how is it possible that this group of people goes through so much extremely life-shattering experiences? It must be possible to end a season, even if it's the 8th season, in an exiting way without resorting to a plane crash after a shooting just two years before. It's almost lazy, sensationalist writing. I would have much preferred for the season to end with the Boards episode. I'm so dissapointed I almost wish I could stop watching, but I probably will tune into Grey's next year again, if only to silently support Mark!

I'm so sad at Lexie dying. I just don't get why they had to kill her off. If chyler wanted to leave they could have written her off so she had the option to come back. Also they could have had M/L get back together this season so we had at least a little bit of time seeing them back together. Shonda kept on saying there would have been a payoff but there never was.

I know! I feel I can justly be very angry at Shonda, because she promised multiple times that there would be good times coming for M/L. I believe she said it would be 'worth the wait'. Tsss, not really!

The OUAT season finale was WONDERFUL indeed! I loved it too. I can't wait to see what actually happened at the end & how S2 will begin! :)

OUaT was really great! I thought they would drag the curse out several seasons but I'm so pleased they are progressing the story faster than everyone predicted. Now to wait until Season 2...

Yes, I had a feeling they would go more with the 'gradual awakening' plot, so this sudden lifting of the curse in the season finale was a bit of a surprise for me, but I like it and season 2 is going to be soooo interesting!
