The theme for this round of inspired20in20 was Masquerade, meaning you had to mask the person figuring in your icon, either through choice of caps, cropping or use of textures or text. I have a bit of mixed feelings about this batch, there are some I like very well, while I'm quite disappointed in others and I think generally I've become too repetitive. But that's the danger of such a theme....

I like the balance of light and dark in 4! The trees look so lush and verdant, and the shine in the top left corner contrasts well with it! I love the use of the pretty purple texture in 14 (is that part of her dress?) that cuts through the subject's face. Very clever!

Thanks very much! I appreciate your comment on what you like especially in the icons very much! The texture is not a part of her dress, but it was chosen to resemble in colour and look the dress as much as possible.
